There are three ways to reset your camera back to its factory defaults :

1- From the IR remote control (with and without OSD), as explained below.

2- From the web gui of the camera (see article How can I reset my camera from the web gui?)

3- From an Avonic PTZ controller (see article How can I open the OSD of my camera with my CON300-IP controller? and then reset the camera back to default from the OSD menu > Restore Default)

* Please note that this will restore the camera back to its default 192.168.5.163 IP address

The following key combinations on the IR Remote Control will restore the camera back to its factory defaults:

[*] → [#] → [6]

(on your IR remote control, press *, release, then press #, release, then press 6, release)

Another method would be to open the camera's on-Screen Display (OSD) menu on a monitor (the OSD Menu is visible on both USB and IP camera outputs) by pressing the MENU button on the IR remote control, and then navigate to the last option "Restore Defaults", then press the HOME button to confirm:

With the help of the LEFT/RIGHT arrows on the IR remote control, select the "YES" option, then press the HOME button to confirm.

Your camera should then reboot with the factory defaults.
