Unbox 

Unbox the CD500. Contact Avonic if the package and/or its content is damaged. Be gentle with the CD500. 

Connect

Connect the network cables and HDMI. Power on the CamDirector using the provided power supply. Check the connected monitor for the default IP address of the CamDirector. By default, the CamDirector is set to 192.168.5.50. Log in with the following credentials: username: admin, password: admin. Go to Settings>Network to change the IP settings.

Update software

Got to Settings>Updates to check for updates. Update always if there is a new update available. The update process can take up to 30 minutes during which the CamDirector may reboot multiple times. After the update process has been completed, the CamDirector is ready for use.

Configure

You can start setting up either the Teacher Tracker or the Voice Tracker modules.
